What I’ve Personally Learnt from my Spiritual Awakening

When I started to branch out, towards engaging with others, after my Spiritual Awakening. I wanted to speak my truth, I found what was out there was disappointing, shame and anxiety inducing and frequently expensive. I’d go to groups, gatherings, shares, baths and retreats but found a certain level of knowledge, skill and experience was assumed. I’d be handed a deck of Tarot cards or ribbons, allocated a partner, and instructed to “give a reading”. If this was not bad enough, then there was the whole “share to the group what you got!” I had no idea what I was aiming for, let alone how to translate, what, if anything I had got. I can access these old feelings well; they have remained in my schemata. It is these feelings, the shame, anxiety and disappointment, that I never want anyone else to experience that propelled me to start my own groups.

I wanted to share the basics underpinning spirituality and working with a Higher Power. I acknowledge different people see and name their Higher Power differently, and that’s just fine!

Support for Your Spiritual Awakening

In the Spiritual Awareness Groups there are two groups, beginners and advanced you place yourself where you feel you are at. There are limited spaces to ensure a comfortable and connected community of like-minded souls. Information is clearly presented. There is always something to learn, while the activities and exercises sharpen your skills and give you valuable experience. A WhatsApp group is open for group chat. Meditation is included in each weekly session, at the beginning or end as appropriate to the topic covered.

The beginners group looks at a different subject each week. The first 6 weeks are facilitator chosen. After that, the Spiritual Awareness Group decides what they want to explore or re-visit.

The advanced group looks at one subject in depth over a 4-6 week period. Again, information is clearly presented. You really get to explore each topic in depth.

You can attened one or more sessions... pick and mix! Or for the more committed curious, attend every week and explore one topic in depth to nourish your soul.
